International Media Companies
Ms. Danziger currently works with international media companies in their licensing of properties for book publication and exploitation in other media, including television, film, merchandising and new media rights.
On behalf of Random House, Inc. Ms. Danziger negotiated licensing agreements with Viacom Consumer Products; Universal Studios Publishing Rights, Inc.; Sesame Workshop (a/k/a Children's Television Workshop); Spelling Television, Inc.; Disney Children's Book Group, L.L.C; TriStar/Columbia Pictures Television, Inc.; Jim Henson Company; Sony Signatures, Inc. and Sony Music Entertainment, Inc. Ms. Danziger also works with new media companies and companies with a new media component. As head of Business Affairs for Random House, Inc.'s New Media Group, Ms. Danziger actively sought out and evaluated investment opportunities in the new media space. Ms. Danziger also contributed to Random House's electronic book program by spearheading its project to digitize thousands of titles from the company's backlist. She set up both internal and external processes, negotiating with outside vendors and working with the individual imprints in their selection of content for digital conversion.
